Game Design event
Prelims: Participants will have to prepare an original game based on the theme Covid Warriors/Retro/Both.
Participants need to submit the URL of the gameplay video, source code and readme text file.
Final Round: Selected teams will be required to present their game.
If any significant part of the design/code is found to be extracted from the internet, the team will be disqualified from the competition.

Online gaming event
Prelims: Participants will compete in Rocket League on 19th and 20th November 2020.
Final Round: Top 8 teams will be selected for CS: GO 2 vs 2 Wingman Tournament on 25th November 2020.
A Steam account and an Epic account are required.
Web Coders
Web Design event
Prelims: Participants will have to prepare an original website based on the theme: Control Panel of Space Shuttle/Online Learning Website.
Final Round: The top selected teams will be asked to explain parts of their code.
Bonus points for hosting the site on GitHub.
Use of any CSS framework like Bootstrap or Tailwind is discouraged.

Movie Making event
Prelims: Participants will have to prepare a short movie based on the topic “Lockdown Diaries”/“Family during lockdown”.
Final Round: There will be no final round for this event.
All movies are to be given a suitable title and duration should be 3-4 minutes.

Final Round: Details will be shared with the finalists.

Binary Masters
Competitive Programming event
Prelims: A preliminary round will be held on 22 November 2020 from 19:00 hours to 21:00 hours for all students on Hackerrank.
The top 10 teams will be shortlisted for the Final Round.
Results for the first round will be declared on the Facebook page of Geek<a/>Hertz.
The final round will involve unconventional programming problems that will be held on 25th November 2020.

Android App Design event
Prelims: Students will be required to make their own original app based on
the topic
Learning Management System (LMS) that needs to have a student and teacher Dashboard.
Participants are required to submit the screen recording, abstract and source of the app.
Final Round: The selected teams will be required to present their App.
Students will be judged on originality, code quality and uniqueness of concept/idea.
Junior Techies
PowerPoint Presentation Making
Prelims: Participants will have to prepare an original presentation based on the topic "Coding for Kids: Boon or Bane".
Final Round: Top 15 teams will be selected. Final Round will be held on 24th November 2020 and participants will
get 2 hours to create the final round presentation, the topic for which will be declared on the spot.
Plagiarism and use of templates are discouraged and may lead to penalty or disqualification.
Scratch
Participants will have to prepare a short animation or game using Scratch.
There will be no final round for this event.
CryptoMania
Cryptic Hunt
A 48-hour long journey through the virtual maze of the internet which will involve connecting
given clues, decoding messages and tons of other tricks to reach the final level.
The hunt will last from 21st November 2020 00:00 to 22nd November 2020 23:59.

Minicomp Wizards
Arduino Application
Students must think out of the box and create something using the Arduino board.
Participants need to submit a drive folder that consists of the video of the model, source code and abstract of the project.
Top finalist teams need to explain their model/prototype to the judges on 25th November 2020.
B-Plan
Idea Pitching
Participants are required to present an original idea for a start-up for a unique product/service.
Extra points will be awarded for Prototype/Website/App.
Prelims: Participants will have to submit a link of YouTube video/Drive Link of video and a PPT describing their idea.
Final Round: A total of 10 teams will be selected for the final round. Each team will be given 5 minutes to present their ideas in front of the judges.
